Invest 97 to turn into Tropical Storm Fiona within 12-18 hours. It is expected to the a Category 2 or 3 hurricane at its peak.

Hurricane Earl has estimated winds of 80 kts, a category 1, and is expected to continue west becomng a category 4, and curve north, making a touch and go at category 3 or 2 on North Carolina, and recurve out into the Central Atlantic.
Interests in the Carribean islands, should take cover, as Earl is hours away, and use official advice.

Tropical Storm Georgette about to form from invest 96. There is not a significant amount of convection, but it has TS winds. Expect it at any time. It will move north, and precipitate over Arizona, Utah, Colorado, and New Mexico. 22nd and 23...

Wow... first Super typhoon of the year in the WPAC!

140 kts, and counting... 115 kts from JMA (10 minute)

120 kts for Edzani (10 minute), and 125 kts for Celia (10 minute)

So, it's approaching strongest cyclone of the year.
