This is a known bug that will be fixed in version 2.
You can sometimes fix this problem by deleting all the trails.

I did... 2 twice... Nothing worked, and let trail number down, and the trails don't get shorter, until you reach 0 in which they dissapear.

Try setting trails according to some body or to space. Set as center.

All hail proj-path! Nobody cares about the past - looking into the future is much more exciting, bigger engine and it can shoot across the water like that. Ok, delete the last part of the sentence if you want to.

What??? Bigger engine shoot across water??? Huh?? I like past, so you can compare orbits, projected path is always off, especially if you set another object to center.

Sorry, the sentence I was about to make just reminded me too much of a joke about Noah's Ark (where a speedboat is... Much more exciting ). Anyways, yes, if I really have to admit it I do use trails sometimes... Hmm, sometimes I just wonder what causes bugs like this, straight trails...

Hmm, sometimes I just wonder what causes bugs like this, straight trails... Trails look a how much their angle has changed in order to know they need to make a new segment (since all trails are made of individual line segments. This bug, straight trails, happened because one of the values used to determine the angle became a non-value (NaN = Not a Number) and every check also returned a bad value which kept it from making a new segment.

Aha, yes I've seen NaN before, thanks for the explanation.

They are probably are moving forwards into space instead of curving around the planet.
